ISBN and bar code

A necessary requirement for marketing a published book through booksellers like Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com, wholesalers and distributors like Ingram and Baker and Tailor, is the assignment of unique ISBN numbers for each title.  In order for booksellers to automatically capture an ISBN, it must be converted into a scannable bar code.  Both ISBN and bar code are printed on back book covers.  It identifies your book and retail price for your published book.

An ISBN number and bar code are provided at no additional cost to New River Publications, LLC clients as part of its Publishing and Marketing a Published Book package.  It would be impossible to market your published book without both.
